Founder and President

Jacqueline Ferguson

Jacqueline is an experienced legal professional, advocate, trainer and facilitator. She brings over thirty years of professional experience across litigation, employment law, tribunal advocacy, case management and client care.

Her career has required careful listening, sound judgement and calm guidance during demanding circumstances. Those qualities now shape the culture and direction of G R I E F.

Jacqueline also brings approximately twenty five years of voluntary teaching and tutoring experience. She combines professional discipline with warmth, respect and a deep commitment to helping people feel seen and supported.

Beyond her professional experience, Jacqueline brings a profound and deeply personal understanding of grief. The heartbreaking loss of her beloved son, Josh, changed her life and brought grief into her own story.

She has also endured traumatic experiences requiring courage, resilience, faith and patient rebuilding. Her compassion is therefore not theoretical. It comes from lived experience, enduring love and the difficult journey of learning to carry loss.

This personal journey shapes G R I E F as a place of honesty, dignity, patience and genuine understanding.

“We may not be able to remove someone’s grief, but we can make sure they do not carry it alone.” Jacqueline
